Oct 29, 2017 · The IP address was set to aaa.bbb.ccc.241, the subnet mask 255.255.255.248, and the default gateway aaa.bbb.ccc.244. O set the DNS to OpenDNS's IP addresses. I could not PING any device out of the subnet I was on. I checked the settings in Control Panel and my typing was correct.

Thus on the network 192.168.0.0/24, the default gateway would usually be 192.168.0.1. But from the server I am not able to ping the router. The router and the server are in the same subnet. The router is configured as the default router for the server. I am not able to ping the server from the router either. Here's the output of the ip route from the router.
